The superb gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah are a short stroll away.

Budock Vean in Cornwall is an elegant, unspoilt retreat on the banks of the Helford River, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located beside Britain's most dramatic coastline, it is ideal for a range of country pursuits, including fishing, shooting, golf, tennis, walking, riding, sailing and Yoga.

A spectacular indoor heated pool opens out onto the terrace in summer or, in winter, has its own log fire. Enjoy Privacy and exclusivity within the 65 acres of gardens and parkland. Many bedrooms have open views across the hotel's golf course and gardens; Seafood is a specialty of the award-winning restaurant, with local Helford oysters and mussels a specialty.

Less formal meals are served in the Country Club Room, whose large picture windows overlook the estate. Breathtaking coastal scenery, picturesque fishing villages and country footpaths, the area has stunning woodland walks beside the estuary.

Bedrooms
All bedrooms have private toilet, bath and shower en suite, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities, remote control television, certain rooms have trouser presses and the majority have open views over the golf course and gardens.

Room service is available 24 hours a day, shoes are polished overnight and newspapers are delivered to your room in the morning.

Swimming Pool & Health Spa

The spectacular indoor heated pool with its own log fire is lovely and snug during the winter and in summer opens out onto the sun terrace. Towelling robes are provided in the hotel bedrooms from which there is direct access to the pool and Natural Health Spa.

Eloise Morgan and her team are on-hand each morning to provide advice and guidance on the wide range of treatments available in the Health Spa all day every day.

Restaurants
Moreen runs the award winning restaurant. Darren Kelly and his team produce a five or six course dinner every night using the finest local produce, followed by Cornish Fudge and coffee. Seafood is a speciality.
A jacket and tie are requested in the cocktail bar and main restaurant but the Country club room offers the same menu without this formality.

Lounges
With four comfortable lounges, a snooker room, a conservatory, a garden patio, a sunbathing terrace, a cocktail bar and a golf bar there is always a corner free to put your feet up and relax.

Foreshore
At our foreshore on the Helford River you will be stunned at the beauty and peacefulness of the location. The foreshore sun lounge offers a quiet place to sit all day with lounge service provided. From our jetty you can go fishing, take the ferry to a waterside pub, have a walk along Frenchman's Creek or go out for a picnic on our sunseeker motor boat.

Tennis
Outside we have two all-weather tennis courts for free unlimited use to our guests.
